2025-10-10The European Journal of Legal Education (EJLE) is pleased to announce a Call for Contributions for its Special Issue 2026, dedicated to the evolving landscape of legal education in Europe and beyond. This special issue celebrates the 30th anniversary of the European Law Faculties Association.
This issue will explore both the traditional foundations and emerging challenges in legal education—bridging theory, practice, and innovation.

European Journal of Legal Education: Call for new Editorial Board Members
2025-02-04The European Journal of Legal Education is seeking new members to join its Editorial Board. The journal is an Open Access online journal which is fully peer-reviewed. It was established by the European Law Faculties Association (ELFA), initially between 2004 and 2011 and relaunched in 2020, since when it has published regularly.

Call for Papers – European Journal of Legal Education – Volume 6, 2025
2024-10-19The European Journal of Legal Education ( www.ejle.eu ) is an online peer reviewed legal journal published annually and dedicated to publishing high quality research and scholarship on legal pedagogy across Europe. We would be pleased to accept contributions to our upcoming sixth issue. The overarching theme is legal pedagogy in Europe, focusing on developments in educational theory, technology and their practical application. Contributions should be up to 10,000 words. Shorter pieces covering updates on current legal education are considered as well. Publication language is English. Please find attached the guidelines for authors. Papers to be submitted via the website as soon as they are ready, but at the latest by 14 February 2025. Papers submitted early and accepted through our peer reviewing system will be published online on a rolling basis so that authors do not have to wait for the issue to be complete before they may report publication.

Relaunch of the European Journal of Legal Education
2024-10-19A new online, international, peer-reviewed, open access journal publishing high-quality, original research is to be launched on Friday 22 May. The European Journal of Legal Education will publish articles on any aspect of legal education. It is the revived journal of the European Law Faculties Association.
